
West Riding Primary School is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the role of School Fee Collection Clerk on a school-funded contract. If you have experience in the collection of funds and or bookkeeping this is for you. Please note that this is a contract position and you will be paid monthly by the school not the government.

REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a bookkeeper.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong knowledge and practical use of Pastel accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Processing receipts and banking of school funds.
- Managing school fee accounts, including credits, payments, adjustments, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Handling debt collection and exemption applications.
- Assisting with stock takes and month-end processes (journals, provisions, adjustments)
- Budget preparation and reporting.
- Generating financial reports for the SGB and WCED.
